Willingness vs. Willfulness, how “I will” goals fail

Willingness vs. Willfulness – Goals need to be structured as possibilities not absolutes. “I will” goals are not as effective as “will I” goals, Are you an “I will” leader or a “will I” leader? Those with questioning minds are more intrinsically motivated to change. Slight change can have huge impact on your self improvement, leadership skills and business performance.

I know this is counter intuitive and you must examine human psychology to understand why. This great article from Wray Herbert of Scientific American covers Psychologist Ibrahim Senay of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and will help understand this concept with experimental proof.
